Growing up on a small farm in rural Alberta, I enjoyed working in construction and earthworks, I was fortunate to get some experience that very few realtors can relate to. I recognise that owning a rural property can be a lot of work and isn’t for the faint of heart, but can also be a place that expands your imagination, offer you peace, and gives you such a rewarding feeling seeing your ideas coming to fruition. Shortly after getting into real estate I learnt that the traditional real estate search engines aren’t built with rural properties in mind, and it was more difficult then it needed to be.

I have also had the pleasure to work with a number of clients, either buying or selling their properties and not necessarily understanding all the ins and outs that come with acreage living and developing, and that just because you bought 3 acres doesn’t mean you can build a home on it, things to consider prior to buying like access to power, water treatment systems, age and condition of septic systems, how well a system has been looked after. Experience can go a long way and we intend to expand not only your knowledge but our own by getting a number of professionals to share the ins and outs of what they do and the different options and solutions that could be available to everyone that is looking at properties.
